Sessions of
yoga of the mind

The support I offer is not intended to analyze your motivations, desires, or mental mechanisms and to find a fleeting mental trick to relieve you. It's a practical, not an analytical, approach.

It's a very simple approach that I've tested for years and that you can implement in everyday life.

Organization of the sessions

Each session unfolds according to the pace of your practice, and the guidance provided is personalized. Nevertheless, we can identify two main stages :

The first stage involves freeing yourself from whatever limits you. A number of techniques are employed—techniques also found in many other forms of yoga :

  • Meditation : Meditation lies at the heart of the practice, allowing the mind to return to its natural state of tranquility. The meditator observes—without judgment—whatever arises in consciousness, thereby becoming familiar with their inner world. This approach favors short practice sessions to avoid creating unnecessary physical or nervous tension. The meditation alternates between seated, standing, and moving postures.

  • Verbal exchange : These moments are not intended for commenting on your moods or physical sensations. Their goal is to encourage you to explore your current patterns and the root of your ailments, and to help you discover the intimate nature of your inner world. Initially, these question-and-answer periods may take up a significant portion of the sessions, especially for those unaccustomed to silence; however, these exchanges naturally point the way toward mental silence.

  • Everyday micro-practices : This involves briefly focusing our attention on simple, routine actions to step out of the ceaseless mental stream and reconnect with our sensory experience. This technique allows us to continue the work of mental hygiene within our daily lives, using the everyday itself as a foundation.

  • Breathing : Guided breathing fosters relaxation and inward immersion.

This first step reveals that we are not who we thought we were. Our horizons expand; as our mind empties, it grows calm; our creativity is set free. This influences our personality, making it less self-centered. We become willing to take paths we had previously forbidden ourselves. The delightful unknown sometimes replaces the ordinary, familiar world.

The second step is an unadulterated immersion into our space of consciousness, an immersion free from ulterior motives. This is truly the very heart of this yoga. Here, rather than merely perceiving and discarding the illusions that inhabit us, we connect with our true nature. We may still practice meditation or use other techniques, but the way we practice changes. The goal is to rediscover a fundamental truth : Our humanity has limited itself to a handful of thoughts and concepts, sensations and emotions, even though the absolute presence of life reaches out to us at every moment.

A personalized yoga program

Taking control of your inner life doesn't happen in a few sessions. It's a significant personal investment that requires a long-term commitment.

Currently, I offer individual in-person coaching sessions only in Forcalquier. Video coaching is possible after at least one initial meeting.

Fees for support services are available upon request.

Session duration: 1 hour.

For those who are experiencing financial difficulties, please do not hesitate to let me know so that money is not an obstacle.

For whom?

Adults

Day after day, the adult builds a mental and emotional trap. The more they focus on their individual story, the more they distance themselves from others and reduce their range of possibilities.

Changing one's approach to events, regaining control of one's mind, and accepting one's emotions are efforts to be practiced over the long term.

The sessions last approximately one hour and are structured around periods of speaking, silence, practical exercises, and periods of relaxation...

Teenagers

Young people today are drowning in screens, sucked into social media, and above all, constantly busy. Boredom is forbidden. Mental rest is impossible.

Increasingly, people are mentally exhausted at a very early age, and current therapies prioritize repositioning them within the collective norm.

Mental yoga is perfectly suited to teenagers. The goal is to teach them to break free from their 2.0 constraints, to teach them from a young age about the power and potential dangers of the mind, and to allow them to find a way of functioning that suits their aspirations.

The sessions last 45 minutes.
